About Brookside

Furniture meant to stay in the family

Since 1986, Brookside Home Furnishings has built solid hardwood furniture in Orrville, Ohio. Each piece is made to be used every day and handed down to the next generation.

It starts with the wood

We hand-select solid hardwoods with the best grain we can find. Nothing is veneered over particleboard.

Built the old way

Our craftsmen join pieces with mortise and tenon, tongue and groove, and dovetail joints. We don't use butt joints or nails, and we finish every piece with quality screws and hardware.

Made your way

Choose from seven wood species, a wide range of stains, and dozens of hardware styles. We can even match a stain sample you bring us. Every finish is buffed to a smooth sheen that stands up to daily use.

Where to buy

Brookside sells through a network of independent furniture dealers. We don't sell directly to the public. Use Find a dealer to locate a store near you.
